Hog Rider – Attack: Ground / Cost: 40 Dark Elixir / Housing Space: 5Once upgraded these are some of the best units to attack with. There ability to jump over any wall is extremely valuable.
Valkyrie – Attack: Ground (Splash) / Cost: 70 Dark Elixir / Housing Space: 11These two-handed axe wielding maidens do in incredible amount of damage, and are best used against other Hero units.
Golem – Attack: Ground / Cost: 450 Dark Elixir / Housing Space: 30These Dark Elixir Troops are like tanks. They can soak up a ton of damage and serve as a meat shield.
Witch – Attack: Ground & Air (Splash) / Cost: 250 Dark Elixir / Housing Space: 12This Dark Elixir Troop has low hit points. Keep them in the back lines as she is able to summon skeletons into battle.
The true power of Dark Elixir! Dark Elixir troops were added into the game in the March 12th 2013 update. They are extremely expensive to train for Dark Elixir is very hard to find. They can only be trained in the Dark Barracks.
