Dragon Cliffs

By October 1st, 2026No Comments

Updated for Town Hall 18 (October 2026).

Dragon Cliffs is the fifth district of the Clan Capital, unlocked at Capital Hall 6. It gives your clan Hog Raiders, the Super Dragon, the Rage Spell and the fifth Army Camp, and on defense it is the home of the Super Dragon Post. The map is split up by dozens of cliffs. Its District Hall reaches level 5 at Capital Hall 10.

What Dragon Cliffs unlocks

Unit or building Housing space Opens at What it does
Hog Raiders (Hog Glider plus 2 Hog Riders) 15 District Hall 1 Defense-targeting squad; the Glider crashes into a defense and stuns it for 4 seconds
Rage Spell 3 District Hall 1 Speed and damage boost in a 4.5-tile radius; lasts two attacks
Army Camp – District Hall 1 The Capital’s fifth camp, 30 to 50 housing space
Super Dragon 40 District Hall 2 Flying unit that pours out fire in short splash bursts

With this camp built, your clan has all five Army Camps: three in Barbarian Camp, one in Wizard Valley and this one. At level 5 each holds 50, so a fully upgraded Capital army is 250 housing space.

The Rage Spell’s damage boost runs from 70% at level 1 to 110% at level 5, after a 20% cut in June 2022. Hog Riders jump walls and small water gaps on their own, which makes them a good fit for a map this broken up.

The district has 48 separate cliffs, and together with its water they cover about 30% of the map. Cliffs block ground troops completely, and seven small bridges cross the water. Air troops ignore all of it.

Dragon Cliffs has no Multi Cannons, Multi Mortars, Rapid Rockets, Crushers, Hidden Mega Teslas or Mega Mines. Its strength is six Super Dragon Posts, each stationing a defending Super Dragon.

How to attack Dragon Cliffs in Raid Weekends

Defending Super Dragons out-damage the Super Giants and Siege Carts from other posts, have similar hitpoints and fly, so most troops cannot fight back. Super Wizards and Minion Hordes sent alone get wiped, and a Flying Fortress will not target them over defenses. The units that handle them safely are Sneaky Archers (while cloaked), your own Super Dragons and Inferno Dragons.

  • Split the work. A common plan is a first attack with Sneaky Archers to kill as many defending Dragons as possible, then a Hog Raider attack to clean up defenses once the sky is clear.
  • Bait with Lightning. Three Lightning Spells destroy a Super Dragon Post of the same level or lower, and two do it when the post is three or more levels below the spell. The freed Dragon then roams and can be pulled away from your attack.
  • You do not have to kill the Dragons to destroy the district. They move slowly, so Super Miners from Goblin Mines can outrun them underground, and a Frost Spell slows them further.
  • Use the Hog Glider stun on the Inferno Tower or Blast Bow, but clear nearby Air Defenses first and watch for Zap Traps, which destroy the Glider.
  • Heal Hog Raiders. Their hitpoints are middling, and a Healing Spell placed in the previous attack still works for yours.

Base-building tips for Dragon Cliffs

  • Put Super Dragon Posts deep in the layout so a first-wave Sneaky Archer attack cannot reach them, and space them out so one set of Lightning Spells cannot hit two.
  • Set a Zap Trap near the District Hall to punish a lone Super Dragon going for it.
  • Use the cliffs. Hog Gliders fly over them but Hog Riders on foot cannot, so cliff edges can split the squad and leave each half exposed.
  • Keep Cannons and Spear Throwers in front of your Inferno Tower and Blast Bow to soak the Hog Glider stun.
