October 2026 in Clash of Clans is the Cosmic Curse: Portal Panic season, a Clash-O-Ween month that runs from October 1 to 31. The headline items are a new temporary troop, the Totem Thrower, and a new Epic Equipment piece for the Minion Prince, the Portal Pendant, which you earn in the Portal Panic Medal Event from October 8 to 25. The October Clan War League runs October 1 to 11 and Clan Games run October 22 to 28. Every date on this page comes from Supercell’s October season announcement. Supercell did not give start times for October events, so none are listed here.

Totem Thrower: the October temporary troop
The Totem Thrower is a ranged ground attacker with high damage at 6 tiles, and he can hit any ground target. His first attack, and every fourth attack after it, throws a totem instead of a rock. The totem stuns defenses near where it lands and leaves a Tiny Totem behind. Tiny Totems don’t move, take a lot of damage before breaking and draw fire from both air and ground defenses, so they work as decoys that protect the rest of your army. They also lose health on their own and disappear after a while even if nothing shoots them.
As a temporary troop, the Totem Thrower can’t be taken into Ranked Battles, Clan Wars or Clan War Leagues; Supercell banned temporary troops and spells from all three in the Town Hall 18 update. Use him in regular Battles, the Challenge Level and the Medal Event. On October 7-8, players at Town Hall 10 and above get 50 Totem Throwers for free for one day.
Portal Panic Medal Event and the Portal Pendant
From October 8 to 25, players at Town Hall 6 and above can collect Sour Elixir in battles to fill Builder Imp’s Sour Elixir Fountain. Filling it unlocks rewards along the way, including temporary troops and Rift Medals. You spend Rift Medals in the Trader Shop, where the Portal Pendant is sold. The battles end on October 25, but the Trader Shop stays open through October 27, so you have two extra days to spend what you earned.
The Portal Pendant is the Minion Prince’s newest Epic Equipment (see the Hero Equipment guide for the full list). Supercell had not published its stats when the season started. Two dates help you plan around it. The Portal Challenge on October 6-13 lets you try the Pendant, and from October 20 to 25 it is boosted to its maximum level for players at Town Hall 9 and above, so you can test a fully upgraded version before deciding how much Ore to put into it at the Blacksmith.
The second Battle Options window, October 17-21, lets players at Town Hall 6 and above choose Sour Elixir instead of temporary troops during an attack. If you are behind on the Fountain, that is the week to catch up.
October Gold Pass and hero skins
The October Gold Pass runs October 1 to 31. Its exclusive skin is the Shroud Queen for the Archer Queen, and the Ghost Champion is this month’s alternate skin choice. Season Pass rewards scale with your Town Hall level at the start of the season and are locked for the month, so a Town Hall upgrade finished mid-October won’t change them.
Five more Cosmic Curse skins arrive through the month, each available until October 31:

- Nasty Prince (Minion Prince) from October 7
- Terror Champion (Royal Champion) from October 9
- Behemoth Duke (Dragon Duke) from October 11
- Spider Warden (Grand Warden) from October 13
On October 15 the original Cosmic Curse cosmetics from 2025 come back for players who missed them last year.
Cosmic Streak Community Event
This is a new kind of Community Event. It appears on October 15 with a countdown and runs October 16 to 31. To complete it, attack at least once a day for seven days in a row. Any attack counts, in the Home Village or the Builder Base. Finishing the streak earns a set of rewards that ends with an exclusive base decoration, and if the player base meets its participation goals, everyone who finishes gets an extra reward. Miss a day and the streak breaks. Rewards must be claimed by November 1.
Smaller October events
Battle Options: The First Curse (October 1-5) lets Town Hall 6+ players choose between Clash-O-Ween temporary troops and resources partway through an attack. The Cosmic Portals XL Scenery is available from October 3 to 31. The Treasure Hunt Event runs October 10-17 for Town Hall 3 and up; Supercell gave no other details in advance.
Two Resource Collector Boosts, October 12-14 and October 26-28, make collectors four times as productive for two days at Town Hall 8 and above. Collect often during those windows so your collectors don’t sit full (see Resources).
Recurring every month
Most of the calendar repeats. The month-specific events above change every season, while the four systems below follow fixed rules.
Clan Games
Clan Games last about a week. Players at Town Hall 6 and above complete challenges from the Strongman’s Caravan, and the clan’s combined points unlock reward tiers that every participant picks from. Each player can score up to 10,000 points, and 4,000 points earns one extra reward. From December 2025 to July 2026 they ran on the 22nd to the 28th of every month.

Clan War League
CWL runs once per season. It starts with a two-day sign-up, when a Leader or Co-leader enters the clan and picks the roster, then the clan plays seven wars against the other seven clans in its group, one attack per player per war. Clans in Master League I and below can choose 15v15 or 30v30; Champion and higher play 15v15. League Medals are spent in the League Shop.
October 2026 CWL: October 1-11.
Raid Weekends
Raid Weekends run every week from Friday at 7:00 UTC to Monday at 7:00 UTC in the Clan Capital. A clan needs Capital Hall 2, and a Leader, Co-leader or Elder opts it in. Each player gets five attacks, plus one bonus attack for finishing a district, and raids pay Capital Gold and Raid Medals. The schedule doesn’t change by month, so Supercell does not announce individual weekends.
Ranked tournaments and season end
Ranked Battles reset weekly: tournaments start on Monday at 5 PM UTC, except Legend I, which runs four-week tournaments (see Leagues). The Gold Pass season ends with the calendar month. Claim your Hoggy Bank at season end, where Gold Pass holders get a 5x payout, and pick any open Choice Nodes before then; an unclaimed choice defaults to the first option. Season Challenges and the Gold Pass start at Town Hall 3.
