Golem Quarry

By October 1st, 2026No Comments

Updated for Town Hall 18 (October 2026).

Golem Quarry is the sixth district of the Clan Capital, unlocked at Capital Hall 7. It was the last district when the Capital launched in May 2022, and it unlocks a single unit: the Mountain Golem, the biggest troop in the Capital. On defense it carries more Air Defenses and Blast Bows than any other district. Its District Hall reaches level 5 at Capital Hall 10.

What Golem Quarry unlocks

The Mountain Golem Quarry, the Golem’s barracks, is built as soon as the district opens. Like every Capital barracks, its level is the Golem’s level for every raider in the clan, and it goes up with the District Hall.

Mountain Golem level Hitpoints District Hall needed
1 30,000 1
2 33,500 2
3 37,000 3
4 40,500 4
5 44,000 5

The Golem takes 160 housing space and moves very slowly. Walls it walks into are destroyed instantly, and it steps over rivers up to 2 tiles wide and the vines of Skeleton Park without needing a Jump Spell. Its job is to soak damage while lighter troops follow behind and do the killing.

The map is cut up by cliffs, with two large quarry pits and a couple of small culverts that ground troops cannot cross. There is little water compared with the earlier districts.

There are no Inferno Towers, Super Wizard Towers, Bomb Towers, Giant Cannons or Mega Mines here. The heavy hitters are three Blast Bows and three Rocket Artillery, long-range splash defenses that hit harder than anything else in the district.

How to attack Golem Quarry in Raid Weekends

  • Bring a tank. With six heavy splash defenses at max, swarms of Super Barbarians or Skeletons melt. A Mountain Golem or Power P.E.K.K.A in front lets the splash land on one big target.
  • The Mountain Golem’s real threat elsewhere is the Inferno Tower, and Golem Quarry has none. That makes this district a good place to lead with the Golem.
  • Get into the blind spots. Both the Blast Bow and the Rocket Artillery cannot hit troops right next to them. Rocket Balloons reach the Blast Bow’s blind spot fast, and Super Giants or Hog Raiders can work on a Rocket Artillery from inside its minimum range.
  • Rocket Artillery shells land where the target was, not where it is, so fast troops can outrun them.
  • Expect Log Traps. Each roll knocks the Golem back half a tile and resets its swing, and six of them can waste a lot of its time. Zap Traps also hit big units hard, so a first attack that triggers traps saves the next player.

Base-building tips for Golem Quarry

  • Cover every Blast Bow’s blind spot with Multi Cannons and Crushers, and keep Rapid Rockets nearby for Rocket Balloons heading in.
  • Wall in the Rocket Artillery so melee troops must break through before they reach its blind spot, and keep it deep where its range covers the base for longer.
  • Place Log Traps where a Mountain Golem has to walk, such as gaps between cliffs, so each roll interrupts its slow attack.
  • Set Zap Traps next to the Blast Bows and Rocket Artillery, not in a cluster, so each one gets a separate big target.
  • Use the quarry pits and cliffs to force ground troops into long walks under your splash defenses.

Golem Quarry FAQ

What does Golem Quarry unlock?

The Mountain Golem, trained in the Mountain Golem Quarry, plus the district’s own defenses. It needs Capital Hall 7.

How much housing space does the Mountain Golem take?

160, so it fills most of an army on its own. Plan the rest of your slots around cleanup troops and spells.

What happens to our Capital Gold once Golem Quarry is maxed?

Spend it on unfinished districts. After the full Capital is maxed, the Capital Treasury from June 2026 holds new contributions. Keep collecting the Forge and using all raid attacks.

Previous district in unlock order: Dragon Cliffs. Next: Skeleton Park (Capital Hall 8). See the Clan Capital guide for the whole mode and Capital Peak for Capital Hall levels.
